The Hero Caribbean Premier League (CPL) has announced that Saint Lucia would be one of four countries to host Hero CPL matches in 2022, with matches scheduled to take place at the Daren Sammy Cricket Ground in Beausejour.
The 2022 Caribbean Premier League (CPL), which will take place between August 30 and September 30, and four countries to host Hero CPL matches in 2022. It’s worth noting that Saint Lucia, Trinidad and Tobago, and St Kitts and Nevis will host league stage matches, while Guyana will host seven group matches as well as the knockout matches.
The Hero CPL was held in Trinidad and Tobago and St Kitts and Nevis in 2020 and 2021, respectively, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, which required the competition to be played in one country. But now it is announced that four countries to host Hero CPL matches in 2022.
The goal for the 2022 season is to tour the region once more, with three locations chosen for the group stages and another for the finals. Trinidad and Tobago has previously been announced as the group stage host, while Guyana has been confirmed as the final stage host.
The tournament runs from August 30 to September 30, and the St Kitts-Nevis Patriots will be trying to defend their championship from 2021.

In a similar development, Trinidad and Tobago’s Minister of Sports and Community Development, Shamfa Cudjoe, highlighted the importance of all safety procedures linked to Covid-19, which will be strictly implemented.
