Sara Tendulkar, rumoured to be Shubman Gill’s girlfriend and Sachin Tendulkar’s daughter, appeared visibly upset as Gill narrowly missed his first World Cup century by just eight runs in the match against Sri Lanka on November 2 at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai.
Shubman Gill, who had been struggling in the tournament, finally hit his stride against Sri Lanka, taking on the Sri Lankan bowlers with authority once he settled in. He managed to score 92 runs from 92 balls before falling victim to Dilshan Madushanka.
