The Indian Cricket Team, champions of the T20 World Cup, returned home after being stuck in Barbados due to Hurricane Beryl. They arrived in Delhi on a specially-arranged charter flight on Thursday, July 4.
Upon arriving in the capital, the Indian cricketers were in high spirits as ecstatic fans welcomed them at the airport. Buses were provided to transport them and their families to the ITC Maurya hotel in New Delhi.
Upon arriving at the hotel, the players were met by a vibrant crowd dancing energetically to the rhythm of dhol. Even though they were tired from the long flight from the Caribbean, the players joined in and showcased their dance moves.
However, Indian captain Rohit Sharma, along with Suryakumar Yadav and Yashvi Jaiswal, were seen joining the dance group and performing Bhangra moves. The video of their dance is now going viral on social media.
