Mohammad Wasim Replicates MS Dhoni Helicopter Shot | Source: X/Twitter
The Pakistan all-rounder Mohammad Wasim Jr. emulated Dhoni’s iconic helicopter shot during the World Cup clash against South Africa on Friday, October 27, held at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.
It all happened on the fifth delivery of the 45th over, as Tabraiz Shamsi executed a deceptive slower delivery with an airy flight towards the stumps. Although it wasn’t in the ideal spot, Wasim Jr. remained deep in the crease, turning it into a perfect delivery, and effortlessly sent the ball sailing over long-on with a helicopter shot.

Mohammad Wasim Jr managed to score just seven runs before getting dismissed off Marco Jansen’s bowling.
Once again, Pakistan‘s batting lineup struggled, with their captain, Babar Azam, and Saud Shakeel being the lone half-century contributors. Vice-captain Shadab Khan also made a noteworthy addition with 43 runs as Pakistan bowled out for 270 runs in 46.4 overs.
