The star all-rounder Hardik Pandya had a cold reaction after dismissing Shadab Khan in the much-anticipated IND vs PAK clash of the 2024 T20 World Cup on Sunday, June 9. The high-octane encounter took place at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York.
It all happened in the 17th over. Hardik Pandya bowled a short delivery that followed Shadab Khan as he attempted to create room for a shot. The Pakistan batter, unable to handle the rising ball, could only manage a top-edge which was comfortably pouched by wicket-keeper Rishabh Pant.
In a celebration, Hardik Pandya simply shrugged his shoulders after dismissing Shadab Khan, who could only muster 4 runs from his 7 deliveries.

Earlier in the innings, during the 13th over, Hardik had provided India with a crucial breakthrough by dismissing the aggressive Fakhar Zaman (13). The right-arm pacer outsmarted Fakhar Zaman with a well-directed bouncer.
As for the match, India registered a narrow six runs victory over Pakistan. With this win, India finds themselves perched atop Group A of the 2024 T20 World Cup standings, having won both their matches so far. On the other hand, Pakistan languishes at the bottom of the table after suffering defeats in both their outings.
