Fans interpreted this post as a possible hint about Virat Kohli’s retirement from T20I cricket. Notably, the ex-Indian captain has played fewer T20Is since the last World Cup, which clearly means that he wants to focus more on longer formats.
As for the ongoing T20 World Cup 2024, Kohli has not yet found his form in the tournament. India will face defending champions England in the second semifinal on June 27th. It will be interesting to see if Kohli, who usually thrives under pressure will step up in this game.
