Basil Thampi holds the record for registering the most expensive bowling figures (0/70) in the IPL. Representing Sunrisers Hyderabad, the pacer leaked 70 runs without picking a single wicket against RCB in 2018.

31 of the 69 runs conceded by Yash Dayal came off in an over, making it one of the most expensive overs in the league. Bowling the last over against KKR, Rinku Singh slammed 5 consecutive sixes after Umesh Yadav took a single off the first ball.

37 runs conceded by Prasanth Parameswaran and Harshal Patel in a single over in the IPL. This is the most runs leaked by any bowler off one over in the league.

More than 150 bowlers have given away 50 or more runs in their spells at least once in the IPL. Among them, 8 have conceded 50+ runs in 5 or more innings.

18.66 is the worst economy rate among the bowlers who have conceded 50 or more runs in a spell. Mitchell Marsh (Pune Warriors) and Harshal Patel (RCB) leaked 56 runs in their respective 3 overs against RCB and Kings XI Punjab. Coincidentally, both instances unfolded at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru in 2013 and 2014.
