Chasing a total is an art by itself in cricket, be it in any given format or on any sort of wicket. It is because the batters are under a lot of pressure during a run chase, and there is very little room for error. However, there are batters who are most often up to the challenge of chasing targets and doing them so well.
Players like Bevan, Kohli, and Dhoni, among others, used to revel in these high-pressure situations and have regularly gotten their team home. Such batters have also made the IPL an exciting tournament, and their contribution to their team in run chases has created many memorable moments.
