The Indian cricket team captain Rohit Sharma has invited fans to join the team for the T20 World Cup victory parade, starting at 5 PM on Thursday, July 4. Team India will reach New Delhi early on Thursday to meet with PM Narendra Modi.
Following this, they will fly to Mumbai on a chartered plane and head to Wankhede Stadium. The final 1 km of the journey will be in an open bus. On Wednesday, Rohit used social media to invite fans to join the team for the open bus victory parade. 

“We want to enjoy this special moment with all of you. So let’s celebrate this win with a victory parade at Marine Drive & Wankhede on July 4th from 5:00pm onwards. It’s coming home,” Rohit wrote in a post.

BCCI Secretary Jay Shah has also invited fans to join the team in celebrating India’s remarkable T20 World Cup triumph.
