Sportswear giant Puma has signed rising stars Riyan Parag and Nitish Reddy as brand ambassadors. This comes after Puma’s initial success in the Indian market with record-breaking cricketer Virat Kohli and his wife, actress Anushka Sharma.
PUMA Targeting Gen Z
Puma is now setting its sights on Gen Z with these new partnerships. Assamese batter Riyan Parag was the leading run scorer among uncapped players in IPL 2024.
“I’ve always admired Puma’s dedication to sports and their pursuit of excellence,” Parag said. “I’m looking forward to representing Puma and motivating young cricketers to chase their dreams.”
Nitish Kumar Reddy, the breakout star of IPL 2024 for Sunrisers Hyderabad, impressed everyone. He scored over 300 runs in 15 games and even bagged 3 wickets.
“The association with Puma is a huge milestone for me,” Reddy said. “I’m eager to represent them on and off the field.Together, I believe we can achieve great things and inspire future athletes.”
Both Riyan Parag and Nitish Reddy’s IPL heroics earned them their maiden call-ups to the Indian national team. Nitish was initially included in the 15-man squad for the tour of Zimbabwe. However, due to injury, Nitish Reddy was replaced by all-rounder Shivam Dube.
