Ravindra Jadeja Announces Retirement from T20Is

After over a decade, the Indian cricket team broke their ICC World Cup trophy drought. However, this victory came on the back of a lot of retirements, with legends Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma now joined by Ravindra Jadeja, who has announced his retirement from T20 internationals. 
Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma made their retirement announcements publicly following their T20 World Cup victory against South Africa by seven runs at Kensington, Barbados. Meanwhile, Ravindra Jadeja shared a heartfelt retirement note on his social media platform.

Here’s what Ravindra Jadeja wrote in his Instagram post:

“With a heart full of gratitude, I bid farewell to T20 internationals. Like a steadfast horse galloping with pride, l’ve always given my best for my country and will continue to do so in other formats. Winning the T20 World Cup was a dream come true, a pinnacle of my T20 International career. Thank you for the memories, the cheers, and the unwavering support. 

Jai Hind” 

Ravindra Jadeja’s T20 international career spanned 74 matches, during which he scored 515 runs and took 54 wickets for India. While announcing his retirement from T20 internationals, the Indian all-rounder reassured fans that he will keep playing the other two formats.
