Pakistan cruised to a seven-wicket victory over New Zealand in the second T20 match of the five-match series at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium on Saturday, April 20.
Batting first, New Zealand were bowled out for a mere 90 runs in 18.1 overs, with Shaheen Shah Afridi leading the attack with a three-wicket haul.
Mohammed Amir, Shadab Khan, and Abrar Ahmed also contributed with two wickets each, while Naseem Shah claimed one.
Pakistan chased down the target in just 12.1 overs, with Mohammad Rizwan leading the charge with 45 runs from 34 balls. However, Captain Babar Azam couldn’t make much impact in this game, scoring just 14 runs from 13 balls.
After the first T20 match was washed out, Pakistan now leads the five-match series 1-0. The second T20 will take place on Sunday, April 21, at the same venue, Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.
