Muhammad Wasim Appointed as Pakistan Women’s Head Coach for Asia Cup 2024 • ProBatsman

The Women’s Asia Cup 2024 is scheduled to start on July 19th, and ahead of the tournament, PCB has announced Muhammad Wasim as the new head coach. Abdur Rehman and Junaid Khan have also been added to the support staff.
Abdur Rehman, the left-arm spinner, takes on the role of spin-bowling coach, while Junaid Khan steps in as assistant coach. Hanif Malik assumes duties as the fielding coach, with Hina Munawar appointed as team manager.

The Asia Cup will be held from July 19 to 28 in Dambulla and will feature 8 teams for the first time in the history of the tournament. Moreover, a 28-player training camp has kicked off in Karachi to prepare for the upcoming event.
India Women will lock horns with Pakistan Women in Dambulla on July 19.
