The Chennai Super Kings captain, MS Dhoni, has started practising in the nets ahead of the upcoming IPL 2024 season, which is less than two months away.
However, what draws attention is MS Dhoni‘s use of a bat, with the sticker bearing the name of his childhood friend’s sports shop: Prime Sports, as a gesture of gratitude for his support in his early days.
MS Dhoni has always talked about how his childhood friends had his back when he was just starting out his career in cricket. One of his buddies even set him up with his first bat sponsor gig.
The 2016 biopic ‘MS Dhoni: The Untold Story’ portrayed the cricketer’s close bond with his friends on the silver screen. Paramjit Singh, one of Dhoni’s childhood pals, stood as a strong support for the former Indian captain.
