MLC 2024: Texas Super Kings Gear Up for a New Season
The second edition of Major League Cricket (MLC), the USA-based T20 franchise tournament, is all set to start on July 6 with a total of six teams competing.
The Texas Super Kings, a sister franchise of the Chennai Super Kings, the joint-most successful team in IPL history, will once again kick off their campaign with the dream of winning the season.
Notably, in the 2023 season of Major League Cricket, the Texas Super Kings, under the leadership of Faf du Plessis, made it to the playoffs after winning three out of the five matches they played.
However, they failed to reach the final. Heading into this season with a stronger squad on paper, they will be looking to clinch the trophy.
The Texas Super Kings will start their tournament campaign against the Los Angeles Knight Riders, a sister franchise of the Kolkata Knight Riders.
