Indian batting legend, Pujara becomes the 2nd Indian to make two double hundreds In County Cricket as he hit his second double-century since joining Sussex, giving the hosts a great chance to win the LV= Insurance County Championship for the first time this season.

He only managed to score eight runs in the first 45 minutes, while Rizwan was the more aggressive of the two batters, scoring 36 runs by the time the pair had put up fifty runs.
Sussex had reached 490/5 at lunch, a 267-run lead, with Pujara 186 and Rizwan 74. The 150 partnerships occurred off 149 balls, which corresponded with the team’s 500th run. Rizwan, however, was wonderfully caught at deep square-leg four runs later.
Delray Rawlins then got off to a good start with a slog six over midwicket, but he was dismissed for 12 after pulling. Pujara was stumped two overs later when he ventured down the wicket to Trevaskis. He hit 24 fours out of 334 balls faced.Pujara and Tom Alsop contributed 99 runs for the fourth wicket, 143 runs for the fifth wicket with Tom Clark, and a fantastic 154-run stand with Rizwan for the next wicket.
