The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) stated on Wednesday that Pakistan tour to Netherlands confirmed and the team will tour the Netherlands for three One-Day Internationals in August.

In the Pakistan tour to Netherlands confirmed, the three matches will be held at Rotterdam’s VOC Cricket Ground on August 16, 18, and 21 as part of the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup Super League. Pakistan is presently ranked No. 9 in the Super League rankings with 60 points from 12 games, while the Netherlands is ranked last with only two wins from ten games.
After Pakistan tour to Netherlands confirmed, PCB Director of International, Zakir Khan, is looking forward to the upcoming series, which was postponed due to the Covid-19 outbreak in July 2020.
“We are pleased that with the support of the Koninklijke Nederlandse Cricket Bond (KNCB), we have been able to reschedule the series, which is important to the growth and development of cricket in Netherlands as well as to the two teams’ chances of progressing directly to the 2023 World Cup,”
Zakir in a PCB statement
“Our men’s national cricket team had an excellent 2021-22 season and I am confident they will build on the momentum to entertain expat Pakistanis and the Dutch spectators with good cricket. This series will also help KNCB attract new and young audiences towards the game,”.

Having Pakistan tour to Netherlands confirmed, both teams will benefit from the series, notably the Netherlands, which is the only Associate nation competing in the Super League. By winning the ICC World Cricket League Championship in 2017, the Dutch team won their spot as the 13th full member, joining the other 12 full members.
Apart from hosts India, the top seven teams would win direct qualification for the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023.
