India’s captain Rohit Sharma had an injury scare during the nets two days before the semi-final against England in Adelaide but he came back to bat.
He was batting against India’s throwdown specialist. The ball nipped back in and hit his forearm after which Rohit immediately asked for medical attention. After some treatment, he tried facing up for one ball but walked out of the net.
On the sidelines, Rohit sat on an ice box and received further treatment. Mental conditioning coach Paddy Upton then spoke to Rohit at length.
India will take on England in the semi-final of the T20 World Cup in Adelaide on November 10.
