Rajasthan Royals (RR) and Punjab Kings (PBKS) are getting underway in the 27th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 season at the Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Cricket Stadium in Mullanpur on Saturday, April 13.
Meanwhile, during the toss, the Rajasthan Royals captain Sanju Samson stated that Jos Buttler and Ravichandran Ashwin are not playing in the game against Punjab Kings and fans are curious as to what happened to them.

Why Jos Buttler and R Ashwin Are Not Playing Against Punjab Kings?
As for captain Sanju Samson, Ravichandran Ashwin has picked up a niggle while Jos Buttler is not a hundred per cent fit. Rovman Powell and Tanush Kotian have replaced them in the playing 11 of Rajasthan Royals.

“We’ll bowl first, it looks like a decent wicket to bowl first. We’ve made a target to not think about the goal, focus on the process, work on building the team and we’re doing well. A lot of challenges outside as well, we’ve many players missing from tonight’s game. 90% of the game was good – Jos isn’t 100%, Ash bhai is having a niggle, so Rovman and Tanush Kotian come into the XI,” Sanju Samson said during the toss.

Rajasthan Royals (Playing XI): Sanju Samson(w/c), Riyan Parag, Dhruv Jurel, Shimron Hetmyer, Rovman Powell, Tanush Kotian, Keshav Maharaj, Trent Boult, Avesh Khan, Kuldeep Sen, Yuzvendra Chahal
Rajasthan Impact Subs: Yashasvi Jaiswal, Tom Kohler-Cadmore, Shubham Dubey, Navdeep Saini, Abid Mushtaq
