Virat Kohli Hits Dustbin in Anger After Controversial Dismissal Against KKR | Source: X.com
Virat Kohli was left fuming when the umpire gave him out in the 3rd over of RCB’s run-chase of 223 against KKR at Eden Gardens in their IPL 2024 encounter on Sunday, April 21.
Virat Kohli was fooled by the lack of pace in the full toss from Harshit Rana, sending a leading edge straight into the hands of the bowler. Kohli didn’t leave the field immediately, as the on-field umpires decided to refer the decision to the third umpire.
As tension mounted on the field, the replays were shown to the third umpire and it showed Virat Kohli standing well outside the popping crease in a bid to negate early swing.

Ultimately, the ex-RCB skipper was deemed out and had to exit the field, but not before engaging in a heated argument with the umpires. He was visibly furious as he walked off the field and made his way to the dugout, where he was even seen hitting the dustbin in frustration.
