The 39th Match of the Indian Premier League 2024 will be played against Lucknow Super Giants and Chennai Super Kings. The match is scheduled on 23rd April at MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.
So far in the tournament, the Lucknow Super Giants have won four matches while losing three. They are presently ranked fifth in the points table. Thus, the Giants would hope to continue their winning momentum. Chennai Super Kings on the other hand too have won four and lost three matches thus far. They are presently ranked fourth in the points table.
Thus, the Super Kings would hope to regain their winning momentum back at their game. This will be a significant game for both sides as Lucknow defeated CSK in the recent game played at Ekana.
The only concern for LSG lies in the injury of their star bowlers. Matt Henry replaced Shamar in the last game, but Mayank Yadav is yet to make a comeback.
Chennai Super Kings’ issue has been very unlikely because of their reputation. They have won every game played at their home while just one away from their home. Chennai would be high on confidence considering the match is in Chennai.
