Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) convincingly defeated Chennai Super Kings (CSK) by six wickets in a lopsided encounter during the 18th match of IPL 2024, held on Friday, April 5 at Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium, Hyderabad, securing their second win of the season.
Put in to bat first, CSK managed to score 165 runs for the loss of five wickets in the allotted 20 overs, with Shivam Dube’s quickfire knock contributing significantly. However, their efforts were in vain as Sunrisers Hyderabad chased down the target in just 18.1 overs, thanks to a brilliant start. Abhishek Sharma played a crucial role.
