Former England captain Michael Vaughan, impressed with the captaincy of Shubman Gill for the Gujarat Titans (GT) in the ongoing IPL 2024, stated that one day he is going to lead Team India.
Michael Vaughan’s remarks came in response to Gujarat Titans, under the leadership of Shubman Gill, restricting Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) to 163 runs at BRSABV Ekana Stadium.
Taking to Twitter, here’s what Michael Vaughan said:
“Have to say @ShubmanGill is going to be a very very good captain .. No doubt he will skipper #India one day .. #IPL2024”
Shubman Gill took over as captain of Gujarat Titans after Hardik Pandya’s return to the Mumbai Indians ahead of IPL 2024.
Out of the four matches played by Gujarat Titans, they have emerged victorious in two and faced defeat in the remaining two.
