In what comes as a big blow for the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG), their fast-bowling sensation Mayank Yadav has been ruled out of the IPL 2024 for at least a week after suffering a side strain during the recent match against the Gujarat Titans (GT) in Lucknow.
Mayank Yadav was in the playing 11 of Lucknow Super Giants against Gujarat Titans and even bowled one over in which he conceded 13 runs. However, he was later spotted walking off the field with the physio and did not return.
This came as a huge blow for the LSG as Mayank Yadav, who made his debut against Punjab Kings, picked up three wickets, turning the game on its head. He then proceeded to dismantle the RCB batting line-up in the next game, also claiming three wickets in that match.
