The 24th game of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 will observe the clash of Rajasthan Royals who will be hosting Gujarat Titans at Sawai Man Singh Stadium, Jaipur on April 10, Wednesday.
Rajasthan Royals has been arguably the best-structured side of the Tournament, they have absolutely nailed everything with their selection, of the positions of their players.
They are committed to playing a brand of cricket which looks entertaining on the field while off the field they are spot on with their technicalities and Statistics.
Jos Buttler who did not make much impact in this season, is now back with a bang with a hundred against Bengaluru.
After having a great International debut in the T20 format, Yashasvi Jaiswal has had a poor start to his tournament which has continued for 4 games now, he would argue he did not have luck at his side, but a player of Jaiswal’s calibre should be amongst runs very soon.
Sanju Samson, Riyan Parag, and Shimron Hetmyer make up a dynamic middle order which has all the required boxes ticked.
Samson is equally capable of taking down spinners as well as pacers while retaining his consistency and flair.
Parag in this season has shown how brutal he can be with his hitting and now he has shown enough signs of reconstructing an innings in case of a collapse.
Hetmyer provides the left-handed flavour to the side which disrupts all the plans laid by the opposing captain to counter the other two by Slow left-arm spin.
At six, they have Dhruv Jheel locked in who is an able finisher who hits pace bowling with immense ease and with his Shubham Dubey who comes in as an impact player to strengthen their already strong lineup.
Ravichandran Ashwin and Yuzvendra Chahal make up their spin department where Ashwin also provides them much required batting depth while Chahal takes care of the wickets in middle overs of the innings.
Avesh Khan, Trent Boult and Nandre Burger have turned out to be a great fast bowling trio where all three of them complement each other with their skills.
Boult swings it upfront and looks to take out the maximum output from the powerplay, while Avesh fulfils the enforcer role with his Hit deck skills and Burger who clicks at 150 kmph has taken care of bowling the death overs.
