The 31st match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 has been played between Rajasthan Royals (RR) and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) at Eden Gardens, Kolkata.
The Rajasthan captain, Sanju Samson, won the toss and opted to bowl first. Jos Buttler, who missed the last game against Punjab Kings, is not available for this game as well.

According to a report, Jos Buttler was spotted limping heavily while coming out of the bus and heading to the stadium ahead of the match, which suggests that the English batter is not completely fit.

This comes as a big blow for the table-toppers, as Jos Buttler has recently hit his purple patch and looked in form when he smashed an outstanding century against RCB.
However, Rajasthan Royals have included Jos Buttler in the impact player list for the match against Kolkata Knight Riders, but just like the last game against Punjab Kings, it is highly unlikely that he will come to bat.
Rajasthan Royals (Playing XI): Yashasvi Jaiswal, Sanju Samson(w/c), Riyan Parag, Dhruv Jurel, Shimron Hetmyer, Rovman Powell, Ravichandran Ashwin, Trent Boult, Avesh Khan, Kuldeep Sen, Yuzvendra Chahal
Rajasthan Royals Impact Subs: Jos Buttler, Kohler-Cadmore, Shubham Dubey, Navdeep Saini, Nandre Burger
