Devon Conway, who has been ruled out of IPL 2024 due to a thumb injury, was spotted cheering for his team CSK from the stands during their recent match against LSG at MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai.
Earlier, Chennai Super Kings announced England’s Richard Gleeson as the replacement for Devon Conway. The New Zealand batter was also seen training with the team at Chepauk.
Conway was one of the backbones of CSK last year as he joined hands with Ruturaj Gaikwad, providing some brilliant performances. In 16 matches, he scored 672 runs at an average of 51 and a strike rate of 142.
Chennai Super Kings have played seven matches so far in IPL 2024, winning four and losing three. They are currently sitting at fourth position on the points table.
