Shreyas Iyer-led Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) thumped Delhi Capitals (DC) by 106 runs on Wednesday, April 3, in the 16th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 at the Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium, Visakhapatnam.
Meanwhile, their star performer and promising young bowler, Harshit Rana, who has shone brightly in the past few matches in IPL 2024, chose not to bowl a single over in this game and was spotted walking off the field during the match.

Now, the Kolkata Knight Riders captain, Shreyas Iyer, has opened up about it, revealing that he saw Harshit Rana holding his shoulder in pain, and it is expected that he has suffered a severe injury.
Here’s what Shreyas Iyer said in the post-match conference:

“I also don’t know, on the field he was holding his shoulder. I have been in that situation before. Vaibhav Arora took crucial wickets for us, he stood up for us tonight.”

Having clinched three wins in a row, the Kolkata Knight Riders now sit comfortably at the summit of the points table with six points to their name and an impressive net run rate.
