The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has released the proposed hosting dates for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025, scheduled to be played from February 19 to March 9. As per a report by PTI, the group divisions for the Champions Trophy are as follows:
ICC Champions Trophy 2025 Groups (PTI):• Group A: India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, New Zealand• Group B: Australia, South Africa, England, Afghanistan

India-Pakistan Clash in Lahore
The report further added that India will be playing against the hosts Pakistan on March 1 at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore. However, the Indian cricket team has not yet confirmed if they will be travelling to Pakistan for the major ICC event despite numerous requests from the PCB.
India’s Travel Concerns
This hesitation comes from India’s security concerns regarding travel to Pakistan. Notably, the Indian team hasn’t toured Pakistan for a bilateral series since 2008 due to political tensions. Both sides only meet in multi-nation events like the Asia Cup.

PCB’s Efforts
In a bid to convince the BCCI (Board of Control for Cricket in India), the PCB is reportedly planning to organize all of India’s matches in Lahore to minimize travel and logistical challenges.
Will India Travel?
Whether the BCCI will agree to play in Pakistan remains to be seen. The Champions Trophy 2025 promises a thrilling group stage with a potential high-voltage encounter between India and Pakistan.
