IND vs SL: Wanindu Hasaranga Ruled Out of ODI Series Against India • ProBatsman

In a significant blow to the Sri Lankan cricket team, star all-rounder Wanindu Hasaranga has been ruled out from the ongoing ODI series against India because of an injury. 
This news exacerbates the challenges for the hosts, who are already dealing with the absence of their star fast bowlers Matheesha Pathirana and Dilshan Madushanka.  

Hasaranga, who played a key role in the first ODI with three wickets and 24 runs suffered a hamstring injury. Jeffrey Vandersay could be a suitable replacement for Hasaranga. 
How Did IND vs SL 1st ODI Fare?
In the first ODI, the match ended in a tie as India was bowled out for 230 while chasing a target of 231 runs. Captain Rohit Sharma was the only Indian batter to score a half-century. For Sri Lanka, Pathum Nissanka and Dunith Wellalage each contributed half-centuries, rescuing their team.
