Faf du Plessis vs Sri Lanka 2020
Former South African captain Faf du Plessis also finds his places in the list batters dismissed at 199 in Test cricket. He was dismissed for 199 against Sri Lanka in Centurion in the year 2020.

Dean Elgar vs Bangladesh Potchefstroom 2017
Dean Elgar, the current South African Test captain, was dismissed for 199 against Bangladesh at Potchefstroom in 2017.
Elgar’s innings had propelled the Proteas to 496 in their first innings and 247 in their second. Bangladesh were dismissed for 320 and 90 runs in both innings, allowing South Africa to win by 333 runs.
KL Rahul vs England 2016
KL Rahul has the highest Test score of 199 runs. The massive 199 runs against England in Chennai in 2016 marked the ascent of the Indian hitter. After Mohammad Azharuddin, he became only the second Indian batters dismissed at 199 in Test cricket.
Steve Smith vs West Indies 2015
Steve Smith, the former Australian captain, owns a Test record of nearly 8000 runs in just 85 games. He is also considered one of the Fab 5, however he was dismissed for 199 against the West Indies at Sabina Park. Ian Bell vs South Africa 2008
Ian Bell was the only England batsman to be dismissed at 199 against South Africa at Lord’s in 2008.
Bell retired from cricket in 2015 after a glittering career in which he scored 7727 Test runs and 5416 ODI runs for England.
Younis Khan vs India 2006
Younis Khan, a former Pakistan cricketer, was a prolific run-scorer in all formats but was one of the few hitters to be dismissed at199. In 1999, former Australian captain Steve Waugh was dismissed at 199 against the Wets Indies in Bridgetown.
Waugh, one of Australia’s most decorated captains and a World Cup winner in 1999, retired from cricket in 2004.

Mohammad Azharuddin became the first Indian batsman to be dismissed at 199 runs in Test cricket in 1986.
When the team toured India, he was dismissed for the sad score in the first Test against Sri Lanka.
